You left several comments and sent me a nice little email on top of it.

I think you've got a good thing going here. Lot's of fresh ideas and radical quesitons, just the sort of thing we need more of now. Please keep it up.

I'm not much of a blog reader. Gives me eye strain. But I will link to you for sure. And I'll check back once in awhile and see what you're up to.

You've also given me more confidence in the idea of atheistic spirituality. I think it's the way to loosen the grip of organized religion on so many people.

take care,
david

To say that christianity is science because it fol...

To say that christianity is science because it followed a primative forerunner of the scientific method broadens the definition of science to include alchemy, astrology, and medicine based on the four rumors. Each of these origionated in the way you describe - people looking at the world, and finding ways to explain it. Without a formalised scientific process though, the theories they produced were not only completly wrong, but endured for centuries or even millenia because there was no interest in overturning the established beliefs.

Besides which, I dont think Christianity really origionated in that way - it seems to have origionated as the writings of a number of prophets of varying importance, each of which claims he recieves his knowledge from On High.
